Field Theory – Ode to KHN

Black IPA

ABV 5.5%

Dark – Chilled

New brewery – only one keg of this!

We only have one keg of this from the brand new brewery and if they’re to be believed they’re never brewing it again, so this could be the last keg ever ! So get in early #FOMO ! Ode to Khn draws on de-husked roasted malts for depth without weight, dark in appearance, but clean and composed on the palate. There’s a quiet structure beneath it all: low astringency, a measured bitterness, and a clarity that allows each element to sit in its own space. Resinous notes move through it; pine needle, subtle spice, a lift of grapefruit. Crisp, precise, and deliberate, the beer builds rather than pushes, holding tension without ever tipping over. A darker beer, but not a heavy one. Made with balance in mind. Inspired by a band built on repetition, rhythm and anonymity. There’s something of that here: layers working together, nothing overstated, everything in its place.
